Niknesha Hairston

Niknesha has been lucky enough to have two books published, including "The Journey"- a collection of poems that takes one on a journey through life; "Last Stop…" - a collection of poems that focuses on three emotions love, anger, and depression. Her poems have also been featured in Riversedge, The Long Island Quarterly, Walt’s Corner, and Nassau County Poet Laureate Society Review Vol. III. She has taught Poetry to high school students through the National Educational Equity Lab where high school students get college credit from Harvard University. She has been an English teacher for eight years and is currently a 7th-grade English teacher in upstate NY.
