At Gaggle, we spent 2025 delivering product updates that help K–12 districts keep students safer, reduce friction, and give schools and families clearer, more transparent tools. Here is a closer look at some of the highlights.

Improved incident communications

Incident emails and the incident detail experience were redesigned for clarity. Critical information and resolution actions were moved front-and-center. Alerts are cleaner, mobile-friendly, and more accessible, so school teams can act faster when it matters.

Portal redesign

Made more intuitive through thoughtful redesign, the Gaggle Portal got a major facelift in 2025. Along with updates to the look and feel, the Incident Detail page was redesigned to improve the Emergency Contact’s ability to quickly evaluate incidents for action.

The new Gaggle Incident Management App is live on iOS and Android. With push notifications, biometric login, and a streamlined dashboard, Emergency Contacts can receive, manage, and resolve alerts from their phones. This release is already making a meaningful difference for Emergency Contacts, giving them the mobile access they need to respond quickly as they support students each day.

Real-Time web protection + simpler policy controls

Dynamic Web Filter analyzes and categorizes web content in real time to block unsafe material before students see it. The redesigned policy manager makes configuring policies more intuitive so district IT teams spend less time updating policies.

Guardian Portal & explainable reporting

Guardian Portal gives families a straightforward view into web activity on school-issued devices. Activity Reports were enhanced to show why a site was allowed or blocked (policy, ML, or category), helping admins get insights faster.

Wider device and browser coverage

Expanded browser and device support by offering a unified Chrome/Edge authentication, Safari pass-thru authentication, MacOS support, and a Windows Services Agent to help district IT teams more efficiently deploy Web Activity Monitoring and the Gaggle Web Filter.

Integrations & insights

ClassLink now syncs Emergency Contact designation and job titles to keep notifications accurate without extra work. Therapy Analytics brings usage metrics directly into the Portal so administrators can easily track utilization and trends.

Small changes that make a big difference

We also added doc-comment context in incidents, improved Web Filter reporting, and launched an Automated Incident Reminder. These practical updates keep districts informed without chasing details.

Looking ahead

Every update in 2025 was driven by one goal: making it easier for districts to protect students, act quickly, and build trust with families. Whether through clearer communication, more intuitive tools, or faster access to critical information, these improvements reflect our ongoing commitment to listening to educators and responding with purpose-built solutions.

As we move into 2026, we’ll continue to focus on reducing friction, expanding insights, and delivering tools that support the real-world work schools do every day. Thank you to the districts and partners who shared feedback, challenged us, and helped shape a year of meaningful, customer-focused innovation at Gaggle.
