What is Gaggle Seeing?

Navigating an Ongoing Mental Health Crisis in Students

Explore our latest report that captures the mental health challenges K-12 children are facing and how districts can improve the well-being of their students. In this report, we review national statistics and Gaggle data for the five-year period between July 2018 and June 2023. It spans the periods before, during, and after the pandemic.

"Recently, Gaggle alerted designated school officials about an email a student had created at approximately 1:00 a.m., containing many trigger words which indicated suicidal thoughts and actions. Before 4:00 a.m. the student and family had received a home visit by the Department of Children and Families. According to the professionals who were involved in this investigation, the student had a high to very high probability of taking her own life within the next twenty-four hours.

I am grateful our Board decided we could not afford to not have Gaggle.”
