New EdTech Videos Tell Stories of Real Student Safety

Every school year, millions of inappropriate words and images in student email, text messages, discussion boards, email attachments and computer files lead to thousands of warnings sent to school district administrators and law enforcement.

A new Gaggle video series, “Real Students. Real Stories.” explains how Gaggle Safety Management has helped uncover drug use, bullying, threats of school violence, teen depression, suicidal intentions, abusive domestic situations, and more. The videos feature the expert team of Student Safety Representatives who help keep students safe 24/7, 365 days a year.

“While our team has a very difficult job, each member is passionate about helping to protect students and that becomes clear when watching these videos,” said Kathy Boehle, supervisor of Gaggle’s Student Safety Representatives. “Due to their sensitive nature, we don’t mention specific students or schools, but these stories still resonate with anyone who watches them.”

Additional videos will be added regularly, including stories from educators and perhaps even students. If you’re interested in telling your story, please let us know by contacting me at
