Curriculum Alignment with Common Core and NETS

common core

We understand that teachers are being pushed and pulled in many directions as they try to address Common Core and the National Education Technology Standards (NETS) as well as the requirements of their own states and schools.

Gaggle’s safe, filtered, online communication tools can assist educators in meeting objectives with specific domains outlined in the Common Core State Standards for English-Language Arts & Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science and Technical Subjects.  Our safe online teaching and learning platform also assists educators in meeting the objectives outlined in the National Education Technology Standards and Performance Indicators for Students (NETS∙S).

We want to help you and your students meet these goals therefore we have created lesson plans for Gaggle users that are sorted by grade and tied to Common Core and NETS. These lesson plans are being created by Gaggle’s own educators and are full of great ideas for integrating Gaggle’s tools in your school’s curriculum. Plans include worksheets, PowerPoint presentations and even links to Gaggle’s help videos. These videos can be used to introduce a new tool at the beginning of the year or highlight a feature that is unfamiliar to students. We’ve made the lessons very flexible, so that educators can print and use them as written, or edit and adjust them to better fit their teaching style, students, and classroom.

Not only does Gaggle offer lesson plans, we also offer professional development workshops about how to integrate Gaggle into the curriculum.  Choose from a wide offering of onsite, webinars, or self-directed training.
