Founded in 1984, the non-profit National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) serves as the national clearinghouse and resource center for information about missing and exploited children.
Throughout the past 33 years, NCMEC’s national toll-free CyberTipline, 1-800-THE-LOST® (1-800-843-5678), has received more than 4.4 million calls. During the 2016-17 school year, Gaggle registered 605 images with NCMEC, protecting schools and districts from the risks involved in handling child pornography.
