Marketing Manager

We are in search of a Marketing Manager who has the expertise, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic required to drive overall marketing strategy with the willingness to jump into, oversee, and complete daily tasks—all while working closely in partnerships with the Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams. Join the Gaggle Marketing team to help us spread the word about how we can help school districts keep students safe.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement assigned marketing programs, campaigns, collateral (such as white papers, infographics, case studies, and videos), email content, marketing content, sales materials, presentation decks, and PR materials for Gaggle for all marketing activities, including the development, creation, management, and hosting of webinars, Twitter chats, podcasts, and other online events

  • Develop, execute, and measure a Customer Marketing program for Gaggle’s customer base

  • Partner with Digital Marketing Director and VP of Marketing to oversee and project manage account-based marketing (ABM) programs—both prospect- and customer-based

  • Coordinate with the Digital Marketing team to develop Gaggle’s social media presence

  • Assist with measuring marketing activities to track against set marketing KPIs

  • Assist with the management and implementation of activities with external partners, including Google and Microsoft

  • Assist with Gaggle’s podcast by recruiting episode participants

  • Monitor competition’s digital marketing presence and determine ways to stand out

  • Ensure the development and delivery of timely, accurate, and strategically sound marketing content for all Gaggle marketing, trade shows, and sales needs

  • Support the production of marketing tasks and campaigns via specific platforms, including Trello, YouTube, Confluence, Slack, HubSpot, and Google

  • Meet regularly with stakeholders, communicating appropriately to ensure timely execution of plan requirements

  • Ensure quality Gaggle image, message, and brand are maintained in all designated activities

  • Stay abreast of potential trends and national issues that may impact students and advise the team of findings

  • Manage escalated customer issues as necessary

  • Support the Marketing team, Marketing Vice President, Sales team, Operations team, and entire Gaggle team

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Candidates must reside in the United States and have full-time, remote work capacity (home office); ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships across disparate time zones and offices Excellent writing skills required

  • Minimum of 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally within the education or SaaS industry; K-12 experience a plus, preferably at the manager level

  • Strong understanding of multiple marketing channels functionality

  • Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices

  • Proficient with Google Tools, MS Office Suite, Salesforce, HubSpot, social media platforms, project management, and communication tools

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with high detail orientation and the ability to multi-task and collaborate with all levels of the organization

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (e.g., marketing, advertising, communications, English)

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced fully remote environment

  • Capable of planning, optimizing, and tracking results

  • Experience measuring and making recommendations using performance measurement tools and metrics as well as other social dashboards

  • High technology competency across platforms and the ability to transform data into insights

  • Eager and excited to test new ways to share our brand story, engage customers, and drive results

  • Ability to toggle between strategy and execution daily; not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done

  • Ability to work independently; must be highly resourceful, responsible, timely, consistent, and deadline-driven

  • Ability to work flexible hours as dictated by needs; travel is required

  • Ability to receive and give information in a courteous manner over the telephone, via video conference, via electronic communication, or in person
