Spirit Week!
I'm sorry it's been so long since my last post - things have been a little crazy around here! Only 5 weeks of school left, and next week (May 5-9) is Woodland Spirit Week! Please encourage your student to dress up and show his/her spirit in a way that is appropriate for school.
Monday - Mismatch Day
Tuesday - Wacky Hair Day
Wednesday - Pajama/Stuffed Animal Day
Thursday - Rainbow Day (6th grade wears purple)
Friday - WD Colors Day (blue/green or 6th grade shirt!)

Due Friday!
There are several items due this Friday, March 14th. Please help your child remember to turn in the following:
- Two photos for commemoration (one younger and one more recent)
- Neon green Valleyfair behavior form (this is not a permission slip, that will come later!)
- Signed report card envelope for 2nd tri. (you keep the card, send back the empty envelope, please)
Remember the Woodland Carnival this Friday evening! The 6th grade teachers will be selling pizza from 5:30-700, stop by and say hi!

Junior High Meeting!
Woodland PTA has been invited to Brooklyn Junior high! On Tuesday, March 11th, Rob Mendolia and some staff will host an informational meeting for Woodland Elementary! We will hold our regular PTA meeting starting at 7:00 p.m. Principal Mendolia will give a presentation and answer questions from parents. This is a tremendous opportunity to get some valued information on site. Rob has always said; parents need to come visit BJ. Last year he personally invited Woodland to visit, so here we come!!
Please join us on Tuesday, March 11th in the Brooklyn Junior high Media Center at 7:00 p.m.
